Kimberly A. Brennan

Kimberly A. Brennan (“Kim”) is a native Clevelander who attended law school at Case Western Reserve University. Since graduating in 1993, Kim has developed an extensive civil litigation practice. Her experience includes representing plaintiffs and defendants, small companies, large corporations, and governmental bodies.

Kim has extensive experience in insurance coverage matters, including the defense of bad faith claims and subrogation matters. She has also dealt with various title claims, including priority of liens, equitable liens/constructive trusts, the validity of mortgages, mortgage reformation, and title defects in avoidance actions in Bankruptcy Court.

On the commercial side, Kim’s areas of practice include complex commercial litigation, employment litigation (including the defense of Wage and hour claims), receivership actions, bankruptcy litigation, D & O litigation, creditors’ rights, lender liability, and construction litigation.

Kim is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys. She served several years on the board of Governors for the Labor & Employment Section of the Ohio State Bar Association and was a member of the Brecksville Civil Service Commission. From 2010 to 2024, Kim was an active member of the International Association of Defense Counsel while also serving several years as the state chair on the membership committee of Northern Ohio.
